In addition, our website may use customised electronic marketing technology based on “tracking pixels”, such as the “Custom Audience Pixel” (CAP) provided by Facebook, Inc. (Facebook). A tracking pixel collects information from a webpage’s header, such as a visitor’s IP address or browser, which is forwarded to an advertiser (Facebook, Google, etc.) for the purpose of providing advertising to its customers that is based on their personal interests. This technology also allows the advertiser to improve those personalised ads so that they become more relevant to the respective user. Revolver does not use the tracking pixel data for any other purpose.

In addition, similar CAP's are in use to track users interactions with email marketing. For example, whether a user opens or clicks links within the email content. The tracker is a line of code placed within the email and has access to the header, the subject and body. It also provides information based on a users activity after leaving the email, and whether that leads to a conversion. All marketing has to be opted into by customers, and can be opted out of at any time. This information is used to build profiles used for retargeting and advertising specific to user interest. Revolver doesn't use this information for any other purpose.
